I walked by TRIO for the first time on my way to work on a cold January morning.
It looked like a cosy and classy bar with it’s wooden stools, high tables and impressive selection of liquors and wine. I thought for a moment i was back in France in my town. As i was in a rush i didn’t stop by to look at the prices or menu. But either way i thought “this place must be so expensive and not worth it”.
With a group of friends we went one night to watch a PSG vs FC BARCA game.
Not only were we delighted with the prices*
but we were also surprised when along with our drinks came a free tapas for each of us!
FREE TAPAS WITH EVERY DRINK
As the months went by, i became a regular (so much that i gained the title of “mayor” on foursquare for those who use it!) and witnessed the evolution from bar to tapas restaurant.
This place is really ideal for a chilled and relaxed night out or afterwork. The waiters are so nice and welcoming that you feel right at home.
I can’t stress how much i love this place. Every friend i’ve taken there has adored it and had a memorable moment there.
Muchas gracias al equipo de TRIO para todas esas copas y tapas divertidos !!
* Glass of homemade (and one of the best sangrias in town!!) 3,50€
Glass of house ecological wine 1,90€

Want to discover Catalonia but in a different and fun way?
Perched on the top of Tibidabo lies your answer; the second oldest themed park in Europe: EL PARC DEL TIBIDABO.
Don’t be fooled by its location.. it may seem small at first but its (hidden at first) 6 levels will entertain you for an entire day (so make sure you get there early!).
The beauty about this amusement park is that it suits every age and every type of tourist.
No problem, there are many rides and events organized throughout the day
Miramiralls: Enter a different universe full of deforming mirrors
Hanging out with your friends?
Hop on the rollercoasters such as the scary “freddy krugger hotel or “la montaña rusa” for a thrill.
Looking to discover more of Catalonia?
The CEL theatre shows every 20 mins a 15min documentary on how the Parc del Tibidabo came to be and the changes it has lived through. Or take a ride in the replica of the first plane to ever fly from Madrid to Barcelona!
Looking for a beautiful view?
The entire park offers spectacular views! The main attractions for the views however are: AVIÓN (mentioned above) and the ATALAYA located right at the entrance.

El Parc del Tibidabo, thanks to its location and history is a unique experience that one should not miss when visiting Barcelona.
